Alright, so I suppose this is my big reveal thread. Who is actually behind that mysterious ferret youth? :poko:
Well, let's see if ya'll can figure it out.
Ask me a question and I will tell you no lie.
Is this your first contest?
If not, have you ever authored a character that you could conceivably pair Poko with romantically?
If so, are they a ferret as well?
Favorite genre of music?
Are you a Beatles person or an Elvis person?
Do you wear socks to bed?
Can you pull off an ascot?
What is your least attractive, non-physical feature?
If you could only eat three things for the rest of your life then what would they be?
How would Poko handle a Primus concert?
Would you do the whole thing all over again, knowing what you know now, knowing what you knew then?
Carelesswhisper:
Yes, this is my first contest (and likely my last, at least for a while because of time constraints/life (baby on the way))
My favorite genre of music is probably soundtracks, as boring as that may sound. I like many other genres, but most of the stuff I listen to regularly is probably from soundtracks.
Matra Hammer:
I like Beatles & Elvis about equally. Maybe Beatles have a bit more variety and options so if I had to choose, I'd go with them I suppose.
I do wear socks to bed. Usually fluffy comfy ones with stripes.
I believe I can both put on and pull off an ascot.
My least attractive non-physical feature is probably either that I am extremely forgetful or chronically late.
If I could only eat 3 things...hmm. Well I suppose they would need to be well-balanced for me to be healthy. So perhaps a pasta (one with meat & vegetables in it and cheese), maybe a turkey sandwich on a good bread with lettuce, cheese, avocado, tomatoes and a bit of mayo, and maybe a high quality fruit salad for fruits. Is that the whole pyramid?
I think Poko would handle a Primus concert just fine. She would be mesmerized.
EDIT: I've always kind of thought of Poko as being similar to "Noodle" from Gorillaz.
Nyika:
Yes, I've thoroughly enjoyed myself, despite being severely distracted and practically abandoning a certain side project that I should probably get back to soon...
It's been a fun ride and I especially enjoyed the personal chat time with the other authors and getting to know them all.
Pokopocket:
What was your favourite nickname for Poko?
I did like Risk's "Pockets" nickname.
We discussed "Sassafras," but then found it is not a common thing in Europe so much as the States. I did like that one, but what he came up with instead was just as good I think. It says a lot about Poko. She does like her pockets.
Oh, I mean did. :'(
Perhaps I can give some clues to help.
Here's the first one.
Poko was not the only character I entered in this contest, nor was she my first. She was a last-minute app.
Based on your answers I can only assume you're Valerie Felicity Frizzle. All aboard Poko's dope-arse techno bus. Let's have a learning adventure...ladventure.
Yeah, I got nothing. I don't know anybody's past and I didn't get enough of a sense from the swirl that was the application phase.
*browses early forum entries*
Ack, still no idea. I could make a few wild guesses but that takes the fun out of it. You're Poko to me no matter what.
By the way I really like Aleisou's picture of you. So much attention to the character details. Makes me wonder...

Interesting that you would think that.
Oh my god.
*lightbulb*
Ah! So two people have guessed who I am. This last clue should give it away for sure, I'm thinking:
My other character - my first character - was the only applicant that did not get an avatar.

XD best reveal ever.
Seriously, though, I am always impressed by the quality and detail of the art you've made during this contest. I know it may not actually be that big of a deal for you as a professional artist, but for what it's worth... wow. That you managed to consistently make such detailed artwork so quickly and consistently throughout the whole contest amazes me. Especially considering you also had to juggle posts and real-life stuff too. Impressive, Star-Ferret.
My dear Vizon! You really are an amazing writer, artist, and entertainer all around. I really didn't know too many people were in the ROC anymore when I came back for this contest after a few years hiatus, but as I grew to know and respect you, I really appreciated your sheer enthusiasm for the story and characters, and your amazing talents as a weaver of words.
Poko was HUGE asset behind the scenes. She was our little encyclopedia, and was always the first to find out and share what she learned about new things, such as how to blow up an armoury with lava, or that trees in a geyser field would be ashen white and not black, and other such useful things that popped up! She was always there with extensive edits of the chapters us contestants were drafting, and always had time to help us. She knew how to make us all look good.
And now, because of Pokizon, I will always remember the difference between 'loose' and 'lose'. XD
Ha ha! Awwww...thanks, Foxpenoony. The behind the scenes interaction is what made this whole thing so fun and worth it - you and Nessa always so chipper and upbeat and Nyika always there for feedback and bouncing ideas off of and tossing out musical links. Istvan and his ebooks and clever comebacks. Zevka always so willing to oblige everyone and quick to incorporate suggestions and requests. Risk though he wasn't around after the start, made us all laugh with his posts and had so much enthusiasm. And Grags, so different OOC than IC - was also such fun to chat with. I'll miss you all! I'll try to be around, like I said, but I'm sure my priorities are going to shift dramatically in a couple months when suddenly there will be a baby in my hands that's totally dependent on me in every way for her life.
It's been a joy, everybody, to contribute and be a part of it!
You were Vizon! WOW! You managed to do all of those posts for us AND all that awesome fanart of our characters?!? That is fantastic. And I have to second all of the great things Noony said about you. Poko was a HUGE part of the story, and you were, too. It's been great writing with you Poko, and although I know you're going to be incredibly busy in the near future, at some point I really hope we can be on a cast together again.
