Is this your first contest?

What was your initial inspiration for Toby as a character? 

If you and Toby were stranded on a desert island, which one of you would end up eating the other?

You never revealed yourself to us contestant folks.  So, I feel obligated to ask you some questions as well, if that's okay.

1.) Who are you?

2.) If Rousseau were to paint you without you ever asking her to, would you feel grateful or really creeped out?

3.)  Was there anything that inspired some of the titles to your posts? If so, what were they?

4.) Who's a better mink, you or Alan?

5.) Are you the same gender as your character?

Yes, this is the first time I've gotten accepted into a contest.

Hm...well, initially I wanted an unusual occupation for the character, and architect came up. Then the rest all kinda tumbled out of my head. I talked out the important facets, point by point; history/family came out which influenced personality, and so on. I think I chose the species last. But why he was there and how he got there got me started.

If we had to resort to that, probably Toby, mostly because he has claws and sharp teeth.

Rousseau:

1) Won't tell right now  :)

2) Maybe a little creeped out at first, but I wouldn't mind after a bit, then be grateful if I got to see it (or keep it) because I'm sure it'd be awesome.

3) Most of them are song titles since the song and/or lyrics had a bit of meaning to the post. Two of them were plays on words, which I always enjoy, and one was a Hamlet quote. So mostly the tone/mood of the music or my interpretation of the lyrics. I think my favorite was the day seven one, with the actual song being the Steward of Gondor by Howard Shore, from the LoTR soundtrack.

4) Now that's a question! I feel like that is comparing an apple to an orange. I'm sure Toby sees qualities in Alan he would like to have, not sure if that's the other way around.

Have you had apps that made it into the semifinalists in other contests?  If so, which contests?

What's your favorite genre of music? 

If you had to choose between writing, directing, or acting in a play, which would you go with?

The only other contest to which I applied was RV5, and it didn't get past the judging stage.

I listen to a wide spectrum of stuff, but I do have a soft spot for 90s alternative rock.

Acting. I've always wanted to try it because I think assuming a personality (usually) different from your own would be quite difficult and fun.

Just because I have pondered this entire time, if Toby had died, would it have been someone else killing him, a freak accident, or suicide? 

Before RV5, were you active at all in the ROC?

Huh, never thought about this... most likely when fighting someone else (a warrior's death!), but if Adrian rejected him he might have committed suicide.

Yes, I think the first contest I read was QBV back on Terrouge. Then I read some of the contests after those, but not all.
