Although certain events prevented me from enjoying week five as much as I could (namely the two untimely deaths. I can't figure out who I'm more upset about...), I'm entering week six with huge expectations.

I really can't say whose chapter I'm anticipating more. I can say that it will either be Brooga or Tassle's. Both have the potential to be their greatest in the contest, and if played right can either rocket or cement themselves to top three positions, depending on where they fall on people's list.

Make me proud, guys. Make me proud.

As dissapointed as I was with the loss of Ashira and all the potential plot points I had desired with her (Her and Silus butting heads, Tassle getting revenge, Ulrick and Ashira fist fight) I can say that I'm still greatly intruiged and desire to see what's next. Silus is getting a little frayed mentally, and I always enjoy reading mental transitions; With Ashira gone, Tassle is legitimately in the running for one of the powers on the island, as she has shown great leadership qualities; I'd love, as always, to see what Ulrick is up to; Cricket is always plotting something; and Brooga just witnessed a killing that might rock even her optimism. The possibilities are there, and I'm very excited indeed.

When does voting open up?

Merged with your other thread. :P

Voting will open at midnight on Monday night. No later. **gives contestants a meaningful look**

Myself, I would prefer that each contestant gets a post up. We've been following these characters for so long, I'd rather get each of the author's input rather than taking the rug out from under them.

I don't know. The first post was a day shy of a week since Ashira's death. I would say they've had plenty of time.

I don't think you have to worry about voting going up late, Sycamore. Tara's already made it perfectly clear to us that this week will not be extended. :-\

Contestants can still post in the 48 hour voting period. If you want to see all of them post, you may have to reserve your vote until towards the end of voting time. I am debating, however. I may be ebil, but I have been known to be gracious before... ;D

I'm just trying to be objective here. My experience with these contests are that voting went up the same time every week and votes were calculated the same time every week. However, subs were offered in the event that one or more of the contestants would be away for an extended period of time. I haven't heard anything in the way of subs here, so an extension might very well be merited.

You all may be wondering why voting has yet to open up. We haven't forgotten! Not sure if I'm allowed to say the reason, though, so I recommend poking Tara for an answer.

Um, yes, well, the reason should be made apparent shortly. :)
