TCB was pretty canonical. Much closer to canon than his contemporaries (like DBIII's "The Spreading")

I've decided if I'm gonna write something of such a length myself, I may as well make it something I can get published. Why write a giant fanfic that's so off the charts in terms of canonocity when you can, with just a little more patience and dedication, buy groceries with it?

So if I ever do think something up, it tends to be rather shortish and not so much an epic trilogy as a strange little thought that makes you go, "Huh, that was weird."

I've never read The Red Days. I very vaguely remember the Spreading, I think, but that was a long while ago.

The closest to a link of "The Spreading" is a review by Wing: http://www.geocities.com/redwalldigest/wing10.html.

I don't think it's on the latest version of the RFF, though you might be able to find an old version on archive.org.

It was a SDRR-type* fic written by DBIII (aka Thanatos from ROC:S 2) of RFF infamy. For a 12 year-old, it was darn good writing.
