Finals - Absence

Just popping in to say that as much as I love being here with you all, I will hardly be on this week due to the dreaded Finals, which are on the 14th. Anthropology (yay) and Statistics (Arg).
Most of all are probably dealing with the same thing, or something similar - don't we all much rather be here than school? But Alas, real life calls *shakes fist*, so I won't apologise, but I trust you all understand. I'll be here only very occassionally, phoo.

My finals were 34 years ago.  But before you throw things at the old hedgehog, I would like to quote the comic strip "Funky."

Life is full of final exams, but unlike school, you can't do a book report for extra credit.

Amen to that , Cairn. My boss came back from sick leave this week.

Her: Wow. You really flew through that pile of stuff.
Me: Yup. It's gone faster than I thought.
Her: How is the re-vamped research guide?
Me: Err... Well, I haven't really gotten around to it.
Her: Well, then. You can wrap up whatever you're working on to meet the deadline on the guide, right?
Me: .... I can.
Her: Good. See you tomorrow.

(So, while I have real finals, being a GA is more challenging by far.)
