Sorry Wolvy...I mean, I like you a lot, but I just can't really see myself in an internet forum clique with you.  But we can still be friends!  It's not you, it's me!

This would be considerably less funny if you weren't both males...

Please, let's not get into THAT debate again.  All we need is for somebody to hint at the word "normal" and this will degenerate into one of the most flaming threads ever.  Just went through that with seven other characters on another Redwall site.  My inbox had to get a new asbestos coat after the caustic PM's I got, not to mention the public board's manipulative mauraders who could twist a simple sentence into a declaration of war.

Whatever you do ...

I love quotes from "Anonymous/Unknown". They just conjure this image of a lonely old guy who makes up lots of catchy proverbs but doesn't want to bother with the whole "becoming famous so people will credit or at least listen to what you say" part. -Sparrowhawk

That's a pretty epic collapse there in your avvie, Zaran. :D

Do what I did, write the first chapter using your characters.  I have mine done and I've even incorporated a section where the other characters can join me or I can join them.  Now there's a challenge.

*whine*  But it's HARD to write the first chapter in suspense when you don't know the exact setting you're supposed to get to.
May you live in interesting times.

Good idea. I was afraid to comment on anything to do with that even just from a canonical standpoint, because I was pretty sure no matter how delicately I worded it I would immediately and rather vehemently be labeled something that I am absolutely not. There are just some topics that can never be discussed civilly on a forum. :P

I'm only surprised I didn't cause that particular controversy any sooner, really.  And Tara, if you'd care to comment on that particular issue from a canon standpoint, I'd love to hear it over PM, say.

Cheers,
Ashy

P.S. Incidentally... I should hope things could be discussed civilly.  The people I most agreed with in that particular argument, though they are friends, did not exactly cover themselves in glory.

...did anyone else here take that as a challenge?

**thwaps Bitey** NO. BAD. :P

Well, simply put I just didn't think that particular relationship was canon at all, but Linny and Fidge were kinda on the warpath so I didn't bother to say that because I knew my words would get twisted somehow. It wouldn't have been as bad were it any other contest, but QBV was supposed to be canon. The majority of it really, really wasn't, so I dunno why the admins even bothered claiming it was, but it's all over now and I don't really care. :P

I'm really surprised Ashpaw didn't win for most shocking, actually, after the stir that caused. :D

Wait... what are you guys talking about? Something on RV V? I'm almost afraid to ask, so maybe just a tiny hint (over PM or something). >.<

My question is:

Why do people keep hurting me? ;_;

Well, I won the admin award for most daring.  Darn right.
