Yarr! It be Captain Blade! The mos' fearsome pirate t' ever walk on th' seas! ...err, on a boat, o' course. 'Cause then 'e'd jus' fall in th' water.

Drew this up in celebration of the Art Room going live. Used a lot of new techniques and brushes in this, so it was a lot of fun figuring out how exactly I wanted to approach it. Credit to Wes Talbott on Deviantart for the emblem references and inspiring the format of the picture: http://westalbott.deviantart.com/

Also, as a little bit of a bonus, I recorded my process of drawing this! It's sped up by 4000%, so it's a little wild, but makes for a fun watch. =D You can check that out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8c9kU7k770

Wonderful work, Tooley. Obviously you've already shown this to me, but I still feel like I should come in here and reiterate my appreciation and respect for this wonderful art. As I told you, it's my desktop background now :P

Was great seeing your process as well. And made me realize that there's a lot I could learn when it comes to different photoshop tools and brushes.

Oh wow! Looks like...legit box art for a boss boardgame. 10/10 would play.

I nominate Vizon to use it for the box art for our MO3 Clue game

Nah, I'll need to make a dead-Atlas for that to work. All super detailed, then I just slap two big red X's over his eyes.

The glowing, fiery eyes and the metallic blue wreath thing at the bottom are my favorite parts of this, Tooley.
Well done. Very well done.

I might do this if I knew the game would be played more than once every two years. But since everyone has their pieces, it's incomplete until we all come together again!

Motivation for more frequent reunions, maybe?
