I'm gonna flip if - for the "Beast with a Secret" category - we don't get a mole who is a mole. Secrecy and intrigue with more layers than any Deeper'n Ever Pie. Burr aye.

It does make me wonder, how many applications have been submitted? Has anyone checked on the moderator lately to make sure they have not been burried under an application avalanche? If you can here us under that pile of stories don't worry! We are on our working hard to rescue you and totally not stealing your TV! (If he doesn't make it I call dibs on his TV >.>)

I'm gonna do little predictions right here. Mostly just gonna guess species and give general impressions.

- Ander - A super genius young mouse raised and trained in a secret underground cave to be a great military mind. Turned out to be an efficient killer too which put him on the arena's radar.
- Malukh - A marlfox with very bad luck.
- Sarek - A lizard warrior.
- Lane Harwell - Gutsy squirrel reporter who got in over her head investigating criminal organizations.
- Caecillia - I'm gonna say squirrel again. With low morals. Sorry can't shake the S&G ref, as Matra mentioned.
- Adeen Pinebarrow - Hedgehog
- Black Jasmine - A sexy black-furred mink con artist.
- Faye - Nuther squirrel.
- Sly Speakeasy - Again, I think my Lackadaisy reading is influencing me here. How can this not be a cat working an underground market of booze?
- Blu Yardel - A sad, sad badger who plays melancholy music in pubs.
- Jasper Hooklaw - Sounds like a cat to me.
- Strathcomb Piccadilly - Hare with a chip on his shoulder.
- Cliffcrawler - Gecko. Totally a gecko.
- Silas Hetherton - Otter caught on the wrong side of the tracks.
- Essa Pipanter - Homey, perky, sweet and kind. Possibly a mouse.
- Sima - A cliche warrior who defeats everybeast who dares pick a fight with him.
- Kali - A fox with a penchant for rescuing youngsters who have fallen into wells.
- Feodor Stefanovich - a sad water rat from a faraway land who writes long, deeply philosophical novels.
- Jarl - Silly Pine marten
- Lacey McTally - A small town otter determined to make her way in the big bad world.
- Drugaen - A wolverine who excels at underground cage match fighting. In spite of his size and strength, he feels compelled to amplify his abilities with herbal potions and stimulants. Tsk tsk.
- Thrayjen - a jaybird
- Dea Brahle - Another cage fighter. Goes by the nickname "Da Brawler." Badger.
- Kentrith Hapley - An optimistic weasel trader
- Altra Gnawear - Squirrel warrior who chews fibrous fabrics into his own fashion statements.
- Maeve - Matronly badger
- Tam Burr - Definitely a beaver.
- Hoober Blackfoot - Ferret, obviously. One who drinks a bit too much.
- Komi Banton - Enforcer stoat sheriff. Keeps tabs on the bad guys.
- Azalea - Sweet hedgehog lass with a secret penchant for blood. (Only because a sweet hedgehog would probably not last in an arena death match. Gotta have a dark side.)
- Marcus - Serious soldier mouse with lots of responsibility.
- Tope Benwrath - A light brown colored otter who struggles with anger management.
- Gemini Appleloom - Aw, so cute. A sweet mousemaid feminist.
- Caa - Python imported from the jungle. Sings beasts to sleep before coiling quietly around them and suffocating them to death.
- Leota Nettlekin - Hedgehog lass.
- Kentigern MacRaff - Otter, leader of a band of kilted warriors.
- Herin - A great big bird with a stabby beak.
- Minerva - An academic cat with spectacles who teaches dark arts at a school of magic gifted beasts.
- Percival - A snooty weasel who thinks he's better than everyone else because he gets really good grades at the school of magic gifted beasts.
- Diamond - A fox who dresses in drag.
- Nokki Avaartin - Squirrel who likes to throw acorns at heads.
- Ffinn ap Gwinn - Otter who fishes for a living. Uses a trident.
- Ascayir - Scary asp.
- Silas Cutwick - Ferret candlemaker.
- Bechtel - A mole that fell out of all her friends good graces when she tattle-tale'd a bit too much.
- Jogan Lazare - Big badger with a swedish accent. Jovial and friendly, except when you get him angry.
- Jovan Yaldon - Big badger with a swedish accent. Angry and unfriendly, except when you get him happy drunk.
- Aldridge Moor - An intimidating and too-serious black wildcat officer from the Stevat Academy who trains only the best to be saboteurs and ghosts. He's too skilled for the arena, actually, and being forced to fight in the daylight with his bare hands one-on-one is going to really make him... unhappy.

I can't help but feel like Tope is a mole, what with "Taupe" being the French word for the blind,  bloodthirsty little fellows.
