So, it's about time I open up my review thread I think, however I've decided that I'm going to do things a bit differently. Originally I was going to do video reviews where I essentially just sat in front of my webcam and talked about each app, but unfortunately my webcam quality decided to give out halfway through the first recording, so instead I'm going to separate the audio from these and do a sort of podcast where I simply talk about each category and character. I thought this might be a fun format just because I don't know if everyone has the time to read through each thread- but this way you could just sit back and listen to my thoughts while you do whatever it is you do.

I'll probably give a brief introduction about what my expectations were for the category before talking about the characters, what they did right, what they did wrong, etc. Ultimately I just plan on talking for as long as I possibly can about each character. I'm uploading the first two sessions I've done now for the Maker and Silly Beast, and I'll be doing Crazy beast tomorrow. Stay tuned.

EDIT: I'm having some general errors and stuff happening trying to get everything set up, so I'm going to get everything fixed tomorrow. Until then.

Okay, apologies for the delay. I'm still waiting on the second video- that is for the Silly Beast- to finish the upload to youtube. Listened on my way home from work. Took a little time getting into the groove, but I absolutely enjoyed the enthusiasm and insight. Didn't think about the point you made with Aldridge - how the author should've held back on the mark so the stoat gets more oomph/urgency during the main story. Anywho, I look forward to the next one. Especially if it's a category you're not 100% thrilled with.

At about 35:52 I slip up and say something that might be taken the wrong way. I ended up saying that Maeve gets a little bit 'twinkish.' What I'm referring to is a really archaic fanfiction term about a character being a little bit 'too' powerful, and I forgot what this could also mean. So, I apologize, that's not what I was going for of course, and I probably should have chosen my words more carefully.

Anyways, with that said, here's the Healer category. It's a bit of a long one, mostly because one of my good friends- Robert Rosequill on the forum- decided to pitch in and help me with this category.

I always thought it was a role play term. Kind of like God Moding or at least pulling off incredible feats your character really shouldn't be capable of doing.

ALSO! I would love to see someone set up an audio commentary review about the story like sport narrators talking about a game xD once the story begins of course :>

It could very well also be a role-play term, though I've mostly heard it in regards to fanfiction.

As for the audio commentary. Maybe. I'll be sticking around once the story begins regardless of if I make it as a contestant or not, so maybe I could do weekly commentary. Probably not on a post by post basis, but a weekly format seems manageable.

Ha! I just think that there need sto be one or two people narating the highlights like a sports commentator. Either ooc who are aware of all that is going on in the story or a couple of IC commentators who are only aware of the things the public would know xD

Here's the Thieves. Didn't have too much to say about this one, though I did come up with a bit more after I finished recording about Lacey that I could have said. Anyways I'll just add it here, because I didn't mention it.

Lacey seems to genuinely enjoy being seen as a hero, despite ultimately being a pretty terrible person. If she gets separated from Sharp Eyes, her actually having to live her lies and fight real people and not just her actor eagle friend would be interesting to see. Anyways, here's the video-

I'm really enjoying your audio reviews, Airan. You're pointing things out and discovering things I didn't think of myself, which is really helping me think about who I'm going to vote for. The deadline is coming up so it's is increasingly inportant to get serious.

Would you be interested in a collab, if there's a way we could make that work? :) Do a category together, a little back and forth, like what ya did with Robert?

We could if you'd like, sure. I'd be all for it. Any category in particular you have in mind? I've kind of made a rough timeline of what order I'm doing the next ones in. (Gab - Love - Revenge- Secret) And this order is mostly designed just because there's specific things I want to talk about in each one that relates to my thoughts on the category that comes after it. But I can alter it a little bit if you'd like to do one of those specifically.

EDIT: I'm also doing a Final Verdict video once I'm done, where I'll go back over my decisions explain them again, etc. You're happy to join in with that if you'd like to give yours as well.
