Though disappointed to see any character voted out, I do feel sad that the death post had to be done by a substitute writer instead of the author. Of course, the use of the sub might be due to some glitch as hinted by Tara regarding other uploads.

I almost wish that Keane had become lost in the caves so that his death could be properly written out by the author. I just always think it's sad for a death to be written by a sub, cause that could be some of the most fun in a contest like this.

But props to the sub! I think you captured Keane quite well, and that last line? I don't know if that was you or Keane himself, but I think those were the perfect last words.

As always, I give the author voted out two days after voting results are announced to get a death post up. Keane's author knew it'd take them at least another day past the deadline to get any kind of post written, and they said it was all right to use a sub if needed. I don't much like having to use subs for death posts either, but in the interest of keeping the story moving, and after already giving one extension during the week, I decided to go with a sub.

I believe that is what we refer to in the biz as a 'double entendre'. It not only references a very famous... John Mellencamp (?) song, but also the obvious controlled-substance-that-causes-euphoria reference.
