Oof! I found a connection! Alas, I will not be able to review the final week, as I don't have the time. That being said, everyone's talking about the last vote, but what about the last week? What are everyone's thoughts on it? I hear Birch is dead, and that's sad. I remember when Kelsey died in RV4. I pitched a fit. Whatever happened to Nona? I do love my otters.

I concur as well. I mean, you're voting on the winner of the entire contest, not just that week. Makes more sense to base your decision on their prior performance as well as the last week's.

I still can't review! What do the contestants think about the last posts of the story? I'm talking about those living and dead, so Deady, Keane, Susie, all those good kids, what do you think? I'm curious! Really curious. I don't think I know what you think of the story at all . . .

I agree one makes a judgement based on the entire contest, but when you have a close choice, sometimes the latest posting can be the determining factor.  If anyone thought I was saying base this last vote on the current week's writings only, then I wasn't clearly explaining myself.

No, in all seriousness, I watched the ending get put together over different stages of in-progress-ness. So I haven't clearly read it all the way through.

The one thing that I didn't quite like was the gladiator business. It seemed a bit contrived to suddenly pull a Falliss during the last week of a completely different contest. But that might be just me...this contest has changed its focus over time.

Just where the focal point of the action is, I guess. We've planned it out as we go, it just evolved a little at first.

I was kinda hoping for something a little more specific, but I don't want to pry (too much) and interrogate you.    

Since I really HAVE been a bad kid and did not look at *all* of the posts back stage, I can't say I know exactly what's going on.  I kind of like being surprised.  I'm having a hard time voting precisely because our top three characters (and writers) have at least something going for her, something that makes me think twice when I'm about to place my vote for somebody else.  

There's not much to work with in the desert, especially as outside forces.  I wasn't even sure how the beasties beyond me were even going to manage to work with the war and the srechrrl and the finding our way out again.  But I don't know; I think it's just fine.  

And I liked the gladiatorial-match thing... and not only because I was one!  I wouldn't have seen it coming, it's exciting, and it is a possible continuation of what I've been wanting, so yeah.

Eh, I'm with Deadtail on the gladiator thing. It felt like it came out of nowhere. I think Kelly and the marten (I can't remember his name right now, sorry) were introduced too late in the game for me to really care much about them and their crazy shenanigans. For the most part, I think the narrative has been solid throughout the story, but then the plague and the whole getting-captured-by-the-Scchrewhatever were jammed in at the end. It was a little overwhelming when I was looking for the story to be winding down.

But I loved the fnal post. What a great twist!
