The Grey Coincidence

While I regenerate review powers here's something fun and stupid that I can waste my time over instead.

If every app was a playable character in a MOBA, what would their abilities be. Now because the game is in development I am only going to be sharing the passives and ultimates of each character. If anyone has any abilities they wanna give the characters, please do so. If you think the moveset I've given a character doesn't fit them, feel free to rework them and give the character a brand new moveset. Oh and just as a warning some of these are a bit gory.

I only really play League of Legends as far as games go and am familiar enough with it that I fear I may make some hard-to-spot references for those unfamiliar with them. I apologize if that is the case.

THE KNIGHT

Marunae- Mid-Lane/AP/Mage

Passive: Thin Forest

Being familiar with the woods Marunae can instantly travel from one side of the jungle to the other. She also gains bonus movement speed at the river.

Ultimate: Summon Heron!

Active: Marunae summons her maybe real, maybe imaginary friend. Heron arrives in a dazzle of Fireflies, silencing nearby opponents. Heron attacks from a distance while Marunae fights in melee. Heron lasts until destroyed, which means if cooldown is carefully watched, Marunae can have up to five Herons at once!

Passive: Marunae gains bonus armour and percentage health depending on how many Herons there are around her.

Fun Fact: Marunae was the first App released into the game!

ICE WALKERS

Emmathea Pointe- Jungle/AD/Bruiser

Passive: Spirit Of The Wild

Emmathea's basic attacks have different effects based on the last monster she took down. Wolves give her bonus movement and attack speed, taking down raptors gives her extra range of vision, she stuns opponents every third attack after taking Krugs and applies damage over time to enemies after taking Gromp.

Ultimate: Give Me Your Strength

Emmathea takes a bite out of target enemy champion, dealing damage to them and stealing their statistics from them for six seconds. If she kills the enemy during this time she keeps the bonus stats until they respawn.

Bahto- Support/AP/Tank

Passive: Alpha Male

Every twelve seconds (reduced by four seconds whenever he casts a spell) Bahto gains a stack of Snacks. At five stacks Bahto can consume all stacks to heal himself and surrounding allies. The more allies around, the more percentage health healed!

Ultimate: We All Need A Hug

Bahto launches himself at a targeted enemy App, wrapping them in a hug that allows them to cry their tears away.  Enemies take no damage but are stunned for four seconds and have their mana pool reduced by half.

Fun Fact: Bahto has the least recorded voice lines in the game!

INTERPRETERS

Scorpio, Lord Of Rain, Bringer Of Floods- Jungle/AP/Mage

Passive: Juvenile Mistakes

Wherever Scorpio goes he leaves an easy to follow trail. If an enemy follows Scorpio's trail for long enough they are marked as Juvenile. Scorpio does bonus damage to and his spells have extra effects against enemies marked as Juvenile.

Ultimate: Final Lesson

Scorpio summons a Flash Flood that knocks back enemy Apps and deals damage based on how far it has travelled. Enemies marked as Juvenile or enemies knocked back against a wall are stunned. Stun duration depends on the distance traveled by the flood.

Fun Fact: Never chase a Scorpio is the first 'rule' of League Of Warpath!

Ixchel Support/AP/Mage

Passive: Omens

Ixchel collects Omens. For every Omen she collects, she heals the closest ally and briefly pierces Fog Of War.

Ultimate: Light The Trail

Ixchel completely disrupts Fog Of war and reveals Hidden traps and Apps.

Fun Fact: Ixchel is the least played App in the game!

Gilhert Greysand- Support/AP/Mage

Passive: I Assure You

Whenever Gilhert affects an ally with spells and abilities they get a stack of Reassured. At four stacks, Reassured Allies attack and cast spells that do bonus on-hit damage for a period of time.

Passive Two(because he has two, shut up I am not overturning this game): Gratitude Keeps Us Well Fed:

Allies affected by Gilhert's spells and abilities can give him stacks of Gratitude. At four stacks Gilhert's spells do bonus effects.

Ultimate: I Don't Make Mistakes

Gilhert reaffirms himself as the greatest reader of the land so thoroughly that surrounding enemy units are silenced. Allies gain a stack of Reassured while Reassured allies get a burst in movement speed. If affected by Gratitude, Gilhert stuns enemies instead and gives his allies movement speed and bonus damage and ability power.

Fun Fact: Gilhert is the App with the most skins in the game!

BEASTMASTERS

Wilder Wapaw and Kwetzacoatel- Bot-Lane/AD/Marksman

Passive: Divine Dinnertime

On every third hit, Wilder convinces Kwetzacoatel to bite the targeted enemy App, dealing bonus magic damage. If an enemy App has been reduced to below ten percent health Kwetzacoatel eats them instead, instantly Executing them and gaining a stack of Well Fed. At ten stacks of Well Fed Kwetzacoatel bites any target Wilder basic attacks.

Ultimate: Don't Miss The Mississippi

Kwetzacoatel flings/throws/spits/Huff's and puffs/snorts etc etc etc,  Wilder in a target direction before flying after him. If they collide with an enemy App they deal damage twice based on distance travelled and stun the target. If they collide with terrain they take the damage themselves and are also stunned.

Fun Fact: Wilder takes up the least pixels in the game, but Kwetzacoatel takes up the most!

Shoklok Support/AP/Tank

Passive- Gentle Giant

Allies near Shoklok are marked as being under his protection. When Shoklok deals damage, they gain a small shield based on the damage dealt. -if all four of his allies are together, the shield becomes greater

Ultimate- We Are Groot (because Groot is a tree, he is the Trunk and everyone else is a Twig)

Shoklok caresses an enemy's cheek, branding them and dealing damage. If this reduces their health below fifty percent he can temporarily control them. If this reduces their health below a hundred percent they follow him as a Twig until slain. This also works on the Dragons, Turrets and Baron Nashor making Shoklok a valuable App for Sieging.

Fun Fact: There was a lot of controversy around him when Shoklok was first released!

Fernando Jungle/AD/Tank

Passive: Ultimáte Beastmaster

Fernando gains stacks of Mastery Levels by collecting Guild Cards. Guild Cards appear across the map periodically.

Ultimate: Bison Chant

Fernando channels briefly, chanting at the top of his lungs. After a few seconds a bison comes charging in, dealing massive damage to enemies it passes through (via trampling) and knocking enemies at the end of it's charge all the way back to their base. The bison then remains there as a landmark for thirty seconds. If he casts this at max stacks of Mastery Levels the bison stays there indefinitely.

Fun Fact: After his release, there was a petition made by fans for a shonen anime starring Fernando.

Timbones Oldburrow Bot-Lane/AD/Marksman

Passive: Granny Power

When reduced below ten percent health Timbones' aunt and uncle appear, creating an unsurpassable terrain between Timbones and Enemy Apps. This passive has a high cooldown.

Ultimate: Bug Buddies!

Timbones can swap between ranged and melee attack forms. When in ranger form Samson and Delilah attack for him, granting him extra damage and attack speed. In melee they form a shield around him granting him bonus armour and magic resist but decreasing his damage output.

Fun Fact: When polled about which App had the best name, most players voted for Timbones Oldburrow!

RING...S!!

Siroc- Mid lane/AP/Assassin- Passive: For every kill Siroc gets, she takes a sip of her cactus fruit moonshine, growing slightly more 'Buzzed.' Buzzed is a unique stacking effect that makes Siroc do more damage to her targets, but her screen gets blurrier and blurrier, blinding her to the atrocities she is committing.

Ultimate- "Arson"- Siroc creates a cage in an area around a player and engulfs it in flame. Enemy Apps just can't walk out of it. It's very broken and players have been wanting it nerfed for a long time.

Fun Fact: Siroc is the App almost all players agree is impossible to win a lane against.

Ninthclaw Teshan Mid-Lane/AD/Assassin

Passive: Fish Out Of Water

Teshan gains bonus movement speed in the river. Additionally he can move through units making him immune to minion block.

Passive: Tail Slicer

Fun Fact: Locke was the first App in the game that can damage Allies!

Dilla Top-Lane/AD/Bruiser

Passive: Rolly Polly

When moving next to a wall Dilla curls into a ball and gains bonus movement speed. The first enemy App she hits after gaining this takes damage equal to a percentage of the distance traveled.

Passive Two: Tough Hide

Dilla takes reduced damage if her opponent attack from behind.

Ultimate: Dilla rolls high up into the air and Cannonball Kicks a targeted enemy, stunning them, dealing massive damage. If it executes them they are stuck in a crater in the ground and their respawn timer is doubled.

Fun Fact: Dilla was created as a response to fans wanting a ninja turtle in the game. She was also created to directly compete with a new Sonic The Hedgehog game.

BONE RATTLERS

Saoirse The Unbound Mid-Lane/AP/Mage

Passive: Unbound

After not moving for one second Saoirse gains a burst of movement speed for two.

Passive Two: Venomous Bite

Saoirse's attacks and abilities give enemy Apps a stack of Rattler Venom. At three stacks the target is stunned.

Ultimate: Coils Of Fate

Saoirse vaults at an enemy champion. If she lands the skillshot she wraps around them, stunning them for two seconds and resetting the cooldown of their ult. The cooldown of her ult is equal to the cooldown of the champion she last silenced. Note there is a separate cooldown so that she can't delay the ult of the same champion twice. If this ability kills the enemy she devours them and gains access to their ultimate instead.

Fun Fact: I misspelled her name every time I talked about her, didn't I? :/

Augur Wren Bot-Lane/AD/Marksman

Passive: Leave It To The White

By virtue of being in-game, all death timers except for Augur's are doubled! This gives him the highest in-game ban rate!

Passive Two: Gather The Evidence

Augur sifts through bodies of fallen enemy Apps and minions, recieving bonus gold and sometimes extra loot from them.

Ultimate: Stacking Evidence

Every third attack Augur discovers more Evidence about an Enemy App. Evidence grants true sight of the target. At max stacks of Evidence (three) Augur can cast Law Of The Land.

Law Of The Land: Augur detonates the Evidence, instantly Arresting enemy Apps. If five enemies are Arrested simultaneously Augur can Cast Judge Jury and Executioner.

Judge Jury And Executioner: Instantly wins the game.

Fun Fact: According to Lore, Augur Wren got a cold reception at Chandlor's Razor!

Fun Fact Two: The game designers thought that with three passives, Augur didn't need an Ultimate!

Gauta Firstflame Support/AP/Mage

Passive: Lighting The Way

Gauta's wards are replaced with Flames. Flames deal damage to enemies attacking it and enemies standing near it as well as granting true sight over an area.

Ultimate: Turn Up The Heat

Gauta sets herself, an ally or an enemy App on fire. Enemies are marked by true sight, slowed and take damage over time. Allies gain bonus movement speed and are temporarily camouflaged by the flame, becoming invisible to enemy wards and Apps but not to turrets.

Wenona- Bot-Lane/AD/Marksman

Passive: Bones To Rattle

Wenona starts the game with twelve bones. As she levels up the number of bones she can carry increases to a maximum of one hundred. Whenever Wenona attacks an enemy she loses a bone. At zero bones Wenona is unable to attack. Wenona collects bones from the fallen. One bone per minion. App Kills refill her stock of Bones.

Ultimate: A Giant Bone

Wenona throws out her greatest, most mystical weapon. The biggest, baddest and shiniest bone in the Whitelands that does massive damage to enemies hit. If it kills a target, Wenona gets to throw another Giant Bone.

Fun Fact: Wenona's voice actress also voices Gauta!

Marrow- Jungle/AP/Assassin

Passive: Guide Of The Fallen

When Apps die near Marrow he helps them Move On. Allied Apps have reduced Death Timers and respawn quicker. Marrow gains a stack of Ornament whenever he helps a spirit Move On. Ornaments stack indefinitely and grant bonus Ability Power, Movement Speed and Attack Speed.

Passive Two: Still A Skunk, Just Stinks Of Death

Marrow smells so bad that nearby Allied and Enemy Apps take damage if nearby.

Ultimate: Spirit Projection

Marrow begins to dance, sending out an untargettable Spirit that deals bonus on-hit damage. It has limited range for Marrow can't stray too far from his Mortal Form. When his spirit returns, a percentage of all damage he did while in his Spirit form is dealt again to enemy Apps.

Fun Fact: Upon release there was great outcry that Marrow's kit doesn't reflect the fact that he is a skunk. His second passive was added to appease fans. There was an even greater outcry after it's release.

Haar- Jungle/AD/Bruiser

Passive: Insecure Dancer

Haar gains lifesteal and bonus attack speed if there are no Allied Apps around to judge his gruesome dancing. If an Enemy App is alone or if Haar is below thirty percent health, these bonuses are tripled.

Ultimate: Intensive Intestine Inspection

Haar rips out his target App's intestines dealing damage and Executing them if they are below ten percent health. If the enemy is executed, Haar can cast Clearsight.

Clearsight reveals all enemy champions for a brief duration

Fun Fact: Haar is considered to be the easiest App to play in the game
