For the Artist in You!  ;D

I think it might be useful to put up some descriptions so that the fanartists have a better idea of what they're drawing. :) Also, I feel like a character's clothing is part of them; it shows their personality.

Here's a suggested format:

General Physical Description (height, physique, etc):
Accessories (jewelry, etc):
Clothing:
Preferred style of character drawing (mostly-animal, mostly-human, 50/50, etc):
Headfur?:

Thanks guys, and have fun with it! XD

Revel

General Physical Description (height, physique, etc): Revel is chubby, in the arms and legs. Not fat, but chubby like a normal girl is. Not flabby, just well-fed. Her stomach is round (pregnant). She's young, 18 to early 20s. Very amiable-faced, often smiles like an idiot for no reason.

Accessories (jewelry, etc): A blue/green headscarf, worn either like a bandana or the more traditional 1950's housewife style.

Clothing: Muddy single-colour tunic, green, red, yellow or blue, I haven't decided. A sword belt, but currently no sword until later in the story. She prefers cutlasses. She's also going to get better clothes later in the story, but I don't know what or when.

Preferred style of character drawing (mostly-animal, mostly-human, 50/50, etc): Mostly animal!

Headfur?: No, please!
And I hope that you know that nature is so
This same rain that draws you near me
Falls on rivers and land, and forests and sand,
Makes the beautiful world that you'll see in the morning

To all reviewers, past and present, thank you! I don't always find something to say in reply to each reviewer but I do my best to read them and will take their advice as best I can. You are appreciated!

Eliza Lacrimosa

Let's see here...

General Physical Description (height, physique, and so-forth): Liza's pretty slim, but not Cameron-Diaz-skeletal. She's approximately real-life 21; old enough to make her own decisions, but without all of the icky maturity. Quite a few slices about the face, and some bald patches on the back of her head from where falling rubble got her.

Accessories (pretty things): No earrings, 'cause one ear got kinda torn up in the collapse. But she does wear a thin gold necklace.

Clothing (prettier things): A jade-colored dress, albeit one that's suffered some astounding indignities. It's getting pretty threadbare, and there are one or two rips.

Preferred Style: Ah, hey, let's go mostly-animal.

Headfur: No thanks!
She walks in beauty, like the night
of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
meet in her aspect and her eyes...

~Lord Byron

Totally still working on the RV5 epilogue, I swear...

Bellona Littlebrush

General Physical Description (height, physique, etc): Average for a dormouse, so about the same size as a regular mouse (?). She's thin and strong with a plethora of scarring. Main ones being: left ear that's tattered something fierce and all across the front of her chest where the furs been skinned off.

Accessories (jewelry, etc): Gold wedding band on her right paw. Black belt to hold up her trousers and holds the sheath for her dirk. Another black belt strapped to her right leg that holds her knife.

Clothing: Maroon bandanna and slacks. Dark blue vest. Off-white bandages wrapped about her chest.

Preferred style of character drawing (mostly-animal, mostly-human, 50/50, etc): Mostly Animal

Headfur?: None.
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

-- Alfred, Lord Tennyson

Damask the Minstrel

General Physical Description (height, physique, etc): A little taller and stouter than average. He used to be quite the looker -- hence the profession. However he's older, so a little pudgy, but he still carries himself with a noble air. Also, as is mentioned, his gorgeous red breast is starting to fade. (And remember, folks, American Robin.)
Accessories (jewelry, etc): A cord necklace with multiple pouches. For foods, his "stage makeup", and coinage. Also, a bronze anklet polished to a sheen.
Clothing: Nada. I'm nekkid!

(These don't matter, I'm a birdie)
Preferred style of character drawing (mostly-animal, mostly-human, 50/50, etc):
Headfur?:

Revel

Oh come on Dammy, let's see a bird with an afro! For the Disco Skating!
And I hope that you know that nature is so
This same rain that draws you near me
Falls on rivers and land, and forests and sand,
Makes the beautiful world that you'll see in the morning

Damask the Minstrel

XD

It's ironic. I'm actually a fan of human-type, headfur beasts. And I'm playing the one character where it doesn't matter.

Rath the Whirlwind

#7
General Physical Description (height, physique, etc): Rath is tall and muscular.  He's pretty much a canvas of criss-crossing scars, but the most notable is a long slash down the right side of his face, through his eye.  Notched ears.  When he's fighting or competing, he's brash and showy, but otherwise he's taciturn and keeps to himself, which is reflected in his face.  Unless you piss him off, or he thinks you deserve it, then he's pretty much a gentle giant.  And yes, this is only for vermin.

Accessories (jewelry, etc): Rath's only major possession is his axe.  A great, double-headed thing that he often carries slung over one shoulder.

Clothing: Nothing special.  Tattered cloak and scarf.  Kilt and belt.  Anything else (including color) is up to the artist, but I imagine they are muted colors.

Preferred style of character drawing (mostly-animal, mostly-human, 50/50, etc): Mostly animal.

Headfur?: I hate headfur, so no thanks.
I am the white void.  I am the cold steel.  I am the just blade.  With axe in paw shall I reap the sins of this world and cleanse it in the fires of destruction.  I am the Whirlwind; the end has come!

Headfur?: I hate headfur, so yeah.

And this is a prime example of confusion.  Read the sentence and you'll understand why I think it is so funny.

I hate headfur, (no headfur), so yeah, (wants headfur).
In life, the only thing that ever adds up is a column of numbers.

Revel

Rath's a masochist.  ;D No wonder he went into the gladiator business!

I find it really cute how we're all agreed on mostly animal and no headfur so far. Except for Dammy who doesn't count.
And I hope that you know that nature is so
This same rain that draws you near me
Falls on rivers and land, and forests and sand,
Makes the beautiful world that you'll see in the morning

And then he DIED!!!

Damask the Minstrel

I'm fairly certain the "so yeah" was meant as a trailing off kind of "so yeah." Context and all that, you know.

Suellyn

and now here to make all the artists lives miserable is the skeletal hedgehog: (I think Cricket did a smashing job btw! Thankee, Miss Rat Queen!)

General Physical Description (height, physique, etc): Su is painfully thin, eyes deepset, cheeks sunken. Her spikes, fur, and her eyes are dull from malnutrition. She attempts to puff her spikes out to make herself look fatter.

Accessories (jewelry, etc): a silver chain belt

Clothing: she wears a simple blue housewife sort of dress with a flowered apron

Preferred style of character drawing (mostly-animal, mostly-human, 50/50, etc): yeah i'm goin' with mostly-animal too.

Headfur?: ummm no
One man has faith to eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. Don?t let him who eats despise him who doesn?t eat. Don?t let him who doesn?t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him. Romans 14: 2-3

Rath the Whirlwind

QuoteThat's not a vermin RAAAH!!!

Okay... perhaps I should have been more clear.

This is only for fellow vermin.  He still has no qualms with chopping up woodlanders.
