Deadtail

All of Dirgecallers' questions, plus Eliza's #3: O...no.

Eliza:
1. No specific inspiration, I just wanted a vermin who wouldn't try to, for instance, attack a "cursed" abbey that nobody's ever held. Not that Redwall had anything to do with it, but somebody who learned from other beasts' mistakes. Preferably theirs rather than his.  :P
2. Either of the armies in the early hundred years' war, so that he could run off and go spread the Black Death throughout Europe.

Revel:
1. Deadtail's not the type to settle down and marry--he'd love to if he could, but he's too paranoid to think he'll be safe.
2. I gave a speech about the letter Z once, so I'm a fan of that.
3. You're pretty fat.

Cricket:
1. At least one, yeah.
2. After.
3. No.

Sparrowhawk: Mmhmm.

If:

x = equals the amount of wood, possibly chucked
y = the desire of woodchucks to chuck
AND
z = the ability of said woodchucks to chuck

DOES

x = y(z)?

Bellona Littlebrush

Ability as a function of desire, Damask? That doesn't make sense mathematically when the relevant variable in the problem is the amount of wood, possibly chucked...unless there's some relationship you're not telling us between x and z.:P

1. Who is your favorite reindeer?

2. Are peaches furry or fuzzy?

3. Did Deadtail pick his own name, or were his parents/'friends' just that mean?

Theirs not to reason why,

Damask: ...yeah, what Bellona said. Unless it's a constant function, and ability is irrelevant! (Which I doubt.) But I think it'd be more x=y*z.

Bellona:
1. Hmm...Blitzen is a good choice. (Anyone else remember that "Elmo Saves Christmas" special? With the snow globe? Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.)
2. Fuzzy.
3. He's like the canon vermin with stupid names, which is to say, I have no idea.  :P

Huh... I could've sworn when I was taking algebra, parentheses were substitutable for an asterisk. Yus. y times z.

Ruinin' my punchlines... *gumbles*

1. Hmm...Blitzen is a good choice.

When I was little, someone abandoned a kitty at our house around Christmas and we adopted her as our first cat (who went on to have many, many more cats). And we named her Blitzen. :P

1. None.
2. Um! Maybe, there was this penny I saw, if it's still wherever the heck it was...
3. ...kay, none.

1. Is the reason he never settled down because he's worried about crazy murderous woodlanders, or his potential wife? The woodlanders sound a bit safer, it's true.
2. Why is Z pronounced Zed by some people?
3. Am not and you're ugly so there.
And I hope that you know that nature is so

To all reviewers, past and present, thank you! I don't always find something to say in reply to each reviewer but I do my best to read them and will take their advice as best I can. You are appreciated!

Deadtail

1. Crazy murderous woodlanders. I haven't thought much about the psyche of anybeast odd enough to settle down with him, but if he was equally willing, he'd trust whoever it might be.
2. I DON'T KNOW! What, do they also go "ay, bed, sed, dead" (that'd be pretty cool) "ed, fed, ged"? Etc.?
That sounds like an awful lot of fun but I don't think they do.  :(
3. Pfah, like I care about prettifying myself and whatnot.
