Unfortunately not a lot of time (I get pretty bogged down in details so tiny avatars are great, but full-size, full-body portraits would definitely take me more time). I'll be making time still for story illustrations here and there, but I also have other art projects going which, since they provide my income, are supposed to be the priority. So I'd hope Tara would select a different artist for the official portraits.

It is very awesome work indeed! I'm just kind of the...Assistant to the Regional Manager Coordinator, though, so Balmafula's in charge of selecting portrait artists and the like for this one. :)

You don't need a body massage machine. You ARE a machine. I'm really impressed (yet again,) ecstatic over how you presented them both (spot on,) and sad that neither got a place in the competition. Good art inspires all sorts of emotion. Well done.

Yes, but Photoshop lets me zoom in a lot so I actually work at 200% (double actual size). These last couple I was really pushing to see how much detail I could work into such a tiny space. I think it may result in a bit of eyestrain for people however, as they squint to try to make out the details, ha ha. It's probably better to keep them a bit simpler for the sake of people's vision. :o

Ah ha! That's it. Usually you can't get tiny details (maxine's armor scales, his tunic lacing) to show when compressing a larger image to small. You already knew that of course, but I had to ask.

Still not going to stop me from plastering it as my work computer's background. Checker board badger/squirrel, ho!

So at this point there are only two characters in all the apps I've not done avatars for, so to be fair, here they are. Pollux and Shortstack. Now we're all even.




Two stoats and I didn't realize until I finished that they are both looking in the same direction (though Pollux is looking at stars and Shortstack is looking up at his rival). Must have been subconscious. Oh well.

If I am missing someone please let me know.

Oh these are all SO great! Thanks for doing this Vizon, it adds a lot to this site to have such nice avatars. I especially love the Pollux one. It's relaxing to look at... if that makes sense... :D anyway, LOVE them all!

Woot!  Thanks for taking the time to make a picture of Shortstack, and also a picture of Francisco's paw and leg :P.  It's an awesome picture, as usual.  I gotta say, this is the first time I've had a character from a failed app drawn.  So thank you very much for the time you spent on Shortstack.
