Balmafula

The voting period is over and I only got two votes.

Audience! Where are you? Where did you go? Is it a matter of timing? Still catching up on the posts? Couldn't decide?

Balmafula

Ah yes, week 5. Ends on the 22nd at our usual time. Surprise!

(Sorry everybody, I honestly forgot I didn't post this yet >_>)

Balmafula

Well, it's been a crazy week and now here we are again. You know the drill.

Voting! Us! Here! Deadline? 26th Midnight PST! DO IT! DO IT NOOOOW!

Balmafula

Only one vote so far. Guys, PLEASE, we need you to vote! I know it's hard, but it has to happen.

Balmafula

Week six will last until 7th of October.

Nyika

For those who have already read my latest post, The Heir of Delphi, an updated version has been posted with an additional scene at the end. This was due to a lack of foresight on my part and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The request to change was granted by Balmafula, for which I am eternally thankful and offer all my reptilian metaphors, similes, and characters.

Balmafula

Voting will last until Friday at midnight PST as usual.

The last two posts are very close to being put up; they are just waiting in the wings for final touches. The entire cast did extremely well to write two posts per character in a single week and I would ask to please not vote based on the time of posting.

Istvan

Ooh, that's not good news for me...

Nyika

Oh my All-Mother, Istvan, you crack me up.

Balmafula

I have only received one vote so far.

Pleeeeease vote!

TNT

Due to an unfortunate irl issue, one of the writers must take an extended leave of absence. They have requested the story be put on hold until they return, which I and the other writers have agreed would be for the best. This writer has put forth an amazing effort and it would not be fair to continue without them. I apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. Please expect the story to resume near the tail end of November at the latest. In the meantime, we hope to have other projects by those remaining to keep us occupied.

While I am sure it is an important reason that is making them have to leave for a month, still. That's....a really long time. There have already been a ton of extensions. This story began back in mid-June, so we're about to hit the four month mark. I know there's not a ton of contests waiting to be run after this, but still. A lot of audience members have dropped out already, I'm guessing due to the extensions. So I guess just like. Don't be at all surprised if you get like. One final vote. Why couldn't the author just volunteer to die if they're going to be gone so long? If you do not have time for a contest, you do not have time. I can't make your decisions for you, but I, for one, would much rather this story were seen through to the end, now, by those who are available to write. I don't know where my interest levels will be a month from now. And if someone starts a contest in the interim (and I would be all for that), I think I might be too involved with that to finish reading this one. Or maybe keep the placings the same and let whoever was eliminated carry on writing (if not actually competing)? Everyone's pretty much on the same level, talent wise, so I would really like reading the posts of everyone still in. It's our story, too. ;)
