Yeah, I'll push the date out indefinitely. I'll also change the guidelines to restrict only excessive violence. "No Swearing" was one of RL's original rules, but I understand we have more adult writers. Besides that, I haven' seem much swearing in your contests anyway, so it's chill.

And hey, I wanted to hear your thoughts on something. Planning/Compiling entries seems to be time-intensive for the writers and may be confusing for the participants who haven't done this before. What if instead it ran like a normal thread, but there's a minimum participation of x# of post per week? It would simplify the contest a great deal. What are the downsides to running the contest that way?

I actually think that would be kind of cool, and a throwback to the first ever contest, ROC:S1. But there are probably a lot of people who wouldn't be as enthusiastic, because the drawback with that is that there will be a lot of conflicting ideas and retconning going on. I still think it would be fun to try though. Some people can be super protective about their characters and how they're portrayed by others, though, so don't be surprised if you get some disagreement about it.
