[Mara the Wolf]

How many of us here write Redwall fanfiction over on Fanfiction.net? And if your username's different over there, what is it? (Mine's Mara the Wolf, although I haven't written anything for Redwall yet.) I'm looking for novel-length stories like Highwing's Urthblood Cycle.

Recursive fics (fanfiction based off of fanfiction, fancomics, etc.), like Samadhir's works, are fine too. ;)

Only thing I don't like is parodies. Well, it depends. If it involve gross jokes or such (like poop/vomit jokes), or explicit sexual content (i.e., I once stumbled across a Pokémon parody where Arceus used Judgement on Ash's nether regions *shudders*), I'll hate it. (Basically, parodies like Galaxy Quest or The Bargain Book Bin: From the Desk of Brian Jacques by Something Awful are awesome; ones like Vampires Suck or The Starving Games... *vomits*)

I'm writing A Realm Reborn, a political intrigue fic which takes place in Southsward and the realms around it. It's based on Jade TeaLeaf's works, so it's a recursive fic as well.

It also has a prequel called Arcana, set 40 seasons before ARR. It is also arguably better written than ARR, which I will remaster soon.

If you're interested in novel-length Redwall fanfics, I would suggest A Falling Hourglass. It's a collaborative project that started out as a prequel to Mossflower Odyssey IV before turning into its own separate thing. Participating authors on the project were Crue, Tooley Bostay & Frost to name a few.

Summary: Far north of Mossflower, a settlement has taken hold in the ruins of Marshank. Here, the Crucible determines the righteous and the guilty- with a fight to the death between the two parties. One wildcat took advantage of this and turned the fortress into a deathmatch arena. This is the story of five wayward souls, trapped within a brutal culture.

[The Grey Coincidence]

I am currently writing a Redwall fanfic on FFN that I think is fair to call novel length. It's called Black and White and is meaaaaant to be a sort of deconstruction of Redwall tropes, but has also gravitated more into this place of plaful silliness from which there seems to be no return.
