Hello everybody!

So, some of you know what happened to me already, but I'll detail it all here for everyone.

First off, I'm okay now. Let's get that out of the way; I am alive and I am recovering.

This past Saturday, I was experiencing intense abominal pain, vomiting non stop, and had a low fever. I went to the ER where I was diagnosed with a kidney stone via ultrasound and sent home after a dose of pain killer.

The next day, my fever was back in full force, I could not stomach so much as a sip of water, spent the entire night vomiting up bile, and the pain was *unbearable* by the afternoon. Back to the ER for foxy.

It was close. In hindsight, I wasnt worried enough. Always take your pain seriously; I passed out for a short while whilst waiting for pain killers and a physician to take a looksy. That's never happened to me before; I'm prone to horrible migraines so I like to think I know what pain is. I certainly do now.

The second time around the ER, I had a CATScan. Good thing, too; not only was my gall bladder "infested with stones" ( the doctor's exact words and never something one wants to hear), my kidney had built up a few more stones and my appendix was about to burst, barely holding itself together.

I was scheduled for surgery, bumped due to a double booking, and finally operated on. I was later informed that I had been literally less than minutes away from catastrophe. If my surgery had been delayed a second time, things would have been much worse and sepsis would have been a very real danger.

So, I have had surgery; it went well. I have been given lots of antibiotics. I no longer have an appendix. My gall bladder and kidneys have been purged of their geological collections. I had a COVID test; it sucked but not as bad as everyone on the news makes it out to be (get one if you need one). I'M OKAY. I have pain meds. I'm home now. I cant move, but I *will be okay* after some healing time.
