The truth is I never left you. I'm right here to answer your questions.

Actually, you can go right ahead and cry buckets.  :'( It'll make me feel better for being the first to go.

So ask away, though I reserve the right to not comment.    ;)

You mean the dog with the clues from Nick Jr.? Nope but uh Steve rules and Joe drools!

Huh...that kinda sucks, like A LOT. I'm sorry, Sue! I know what it's like to get voted off first in a contest, so you have my empathy.;_; I was really hoping the few woodlanders would make it a bit father in the game, but that's the way it goes, yeah? I think it was really that second post that did you in. Which is a bit silly because it wasn't entirely your fault that you got stuck with a crummy section of plot to move along at such a rapid pace. Anyway, onto questions!

1. Are you male or female IRL?

2. Did Sue have anorexia?

3. What was her daughter's name?

Wrong! The correct answer is:

Da ba dee da ba di, da ba dee da ba di.

*edit - I have clarified, per Cairn's suggestion.
And then he DIED!!!

Suellyn

thank you my dear Queen Cricket for you kind words.

1. i am female (hear me roar)

2. Su's condition wasn't Anorexia in the strictest sense. Meaning that she did not starve herself for the purpose of being thin. Su was always a picky eater. (in contrast most canon characters who will take any opportunity to eat) "O dear, my Dibbun was just taken away by vermin! Let's have a feast!"

This was compounded by her upbringing. Her parents were slaves and were starved in the galley of a ship. When they were finally free, they and their fellow creatures set up a community where food was a status symbol. The gluttony was enough to make her sick. (not that she's bulimic, I mean that figuratively) Anywho rather than realizing that she was wasting away her family said, "Oh look Su's not gonna eat that. More for me."

She never wanted to hurt anybeast's feelings by telling them that she just didn't like what they set before her so she would convince herself that she wasn't hungry.

3. hmmm I've thought a bit about this and I think they were planning on naming her Hope but when she was born dead they felt it was rather a bad omen and decided not to give her a name at all. I would imagine that in the lovely little corner of Dark Forest where she resides she is still known as Hope.

and to Sycamore: Aww man, I was sure I had that one.

Well that clears thing up a lot.    ???

My thought is that there was a heavy leaning towards the vermin, which made playing one of the two woodlanders a heavy burden.  Of the two woodlanders, I do think Bellona has more potential.  It is sad seeing you depart as I wondered if our lady hedgehog would ever figure out that Revel killed her in-laws.

I noticed there was no segment for recording the reasons for voting a character to their death.  Would have been nice knowing the thought process of the audience.

(Yeah, I'll be going back to the lurking mode.  Just wanted to extend my sympathies in public to our departed hedgehog lady.)
In life, the only thing that ever adds up is a column of numbers.

Magical Fish

Cairn, Blue was a terrible song by Eiffel 65 (I think?) in the early 2000s. The chorus went "I'm Blue, da ba dee da ba di..." And Sycamore should be ashamed for resurrecting it!

Sue, I'm so sorry to see you go. I don't think you deserved it at all. I really wanted to see some resolution to the Baez situation, so that's my question: Were you planning to have Sue find him? Dead or alive?
Best in the world.

Quote from: SusieBut she could still hear voices from that other place. The lizard's goin' to eat me. Well if it 'ad to be some beast I wish it could have at least been Revel. Those kits 'aven' 'ad meat in a few days.

I think so.

Perhaps in death, all is revealed.  Nice knowing our lady hedgehog harbored no ill feelings towards Revel for killing her family.  A bit weird that thought, but that was my impression.

And thanks for the link.  Must agree, that is horrible.

A'ight. Down to this riddle-solving, ma'am.

1. Have you been in a survivor contest before?

2. Do you frequent any active ROC clubs? If yes, which ones?

3. Can you remember when Starfire's Abbey closed down?
*crickets chirruping*

Sycamore

I've got a few real, non-riddle questions.

When did you plan on bringing about Susie's turnaround? Likewise, how were you going to achieve it, and what were you going to do with it?
And then he DIED!!!

Jarrtail

1. Are you active on the RFF or Terrouge?

2. Do you have a Deviantart account?

3. Are you a fan of Martin/Rose?

Sparrowhawk

oh, Suuuuuue. :( If it's any comfort I didn't vote for you.

Your death post ending was a tearjerker for sure. And I can't get over how she actually wants Revel to eat her, it speaks volumes about who she was. I guess it's hard to pull the heartstrings of the audience in regards to a character they barely got to know, but I think you pulled it off pretty well.

Here's my question to add to the flood: are you/have you ever been a member of the Vulpine Imperium?

Revel

Sue! Who else will I eat ice cream with?
And I hope that you know that nature is so
This same rain that draws you near me
Falls on rivers and land, and forests and sand,
Makes the beautiful world that you'll see in the morning

To all reviewers, past and present, thank you! I don't always find something to say in reply to each reviewer but I do my best to read them and will take their advice as best I can. You are appreciated!
