I mean, the situation Rousseau just said could happen, but I'd like to think most people here are ... a little more reasonable than the general population of gaming forums.

And this isn't just a gaming community. This was the fighting game community, where if it isn't made by Capcom then it deserves to be burned in a ditch and scorned. Meanwhile game's like Marvel vs Capcom 3 are worshiped even though there only 12 of the 36 characters ever played because of how unbalanced the game is. Also, don't you dare say that to them, otherwise all hell breaks loose and you become basically excommunicated.

But yeah, a lot of us know each other personally on here, I'm facebook friends with some of you, and we're basically all pretty chill from what I can tell. Tactical voting may happen but hopefully it won't be done by too many people. And even then, voting tactically is a huge risk speaking people's opinions may have changed based on what they've read.  My Merchant and Dewhurst votes weren't what I originally put down in my reviews, because after giving them more reads and thinking about them, I figured out which ones I really do want to see in the contest and could potentially do very well and be entertaining.

I just wish the clock would tick faster. That's the real only thing I hate about waiting until midnight for something sometimes, the clock just gets slower and slower and my heartrate just gets faster and faster until I'm pretty sure that I need to go to the hospital. Then if I make it in, I can't fall asleep out of excitement, and if I don't make it in, I can't fall asleep because of disappointment.

Just curious, Balmafula, have most of the votes already been counted? Would that mean that the results would come pretty quickly after the deadline?

I've been keeping track of the votes/final scores as I've gotten them. I'm going to go over them again just to make sure I got everything right and then it's just a matter of making emails and forum profiles, sending messages, and posting the results.
