Sycamore: op yeah now i remember.  ::)

Cairn: thank you so much for coming out of semi-retirement for me. We pricklies gotta stick together. And about Rev and the in-laws I think in someway Su may have always known but she didn't want to admit it to herself and she was on the same page that you are with the 'normal' issue. She was going to look out for the stoatmamma no mater what nasty little habits she might have. Once she was on the other side she didn't need to avoid the truth anymore and she figured it would be better nourish the stoatlets then to get gnawed on by lizards.

Rev: are you still goin' to name one of the liddle'uns after me?

Fishy: I would have very much liked for Su and her hubby to be reunited. And you may note that he wasn't the one who was there to meet her in Dark Forest. And thank you I don't think I deserved it either.  ;)

Cricket: 1. Yes 2. No 3. No

Sycamore (again *sigh* tee hee): i'm not sure what you mean by turnaround. could you please be more specific?

Jartail: 1. No 2. Yes 3. (trying to remember if i went through this schpeel on another site and if my answer will totally give me away. Oh wth) I think she was a fool to think that she could change him.

Oh Sparrowhawk: thanks that is nice to hear and no i have never been a member of VI

Aww Revvie: I'll come back all sparkly and undead and we can have some ice cream, k?

Revel

That's right! I'm going to name one of them Stupid, and the other one 'Edgehog.  ;)

My next question is, when you come back all undead, can we skip ice cream and go out for brains instead? Maybe Rath would like to join us.
And I hope that you know that nature is so
This same rain that draws you near me
Falls on rivers and land, and forests and sand,
Makes the beautiful world that you'll see in the morning

To all reviewers, past and present, thank you! I don't always find something to say in reply to each reviewer but I do my best to read them and will take their advice as best I can. You are appreciated!

I do hope that comment was made in jest.  It sounds like you are demeaning your fellow contestant by calling her "stupid."  Not very polite.  And if the word is for another hedgehog, you'll understand why I've returned to lurking.
In life, the only thing that ever adds up is a column of numbers.

Jarrtail

Aw, come on. She was obviously kidding. I really don't think that Revel would try to intentionally hurt anyone's feelings.

Revel

No, no!  :'( I'm sorry Cairn. I was just pretending to be in character.

Well, I think any sort of tragic character has a turnaround in the sense where they stop being angsty and start being awesome. If I take Susie, for example, she could have a turnaround of finding her husband, or starting to eat, or something that's not strictly being a miserable little ball. And I know she's not really a miserable little ball, but there is a lot of tragedy in her life.

So I dunno. Did that explain it? If not, I can give you some other examples!
And then he DIED!!!

Random other question: Sue, was Suellyn wearing a dress? If so, I might need to steal it to repay my debts to Revel...

Then again, it'd probably have holes all through the back... Hrm...
She walks in beauty, like the night
of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
meet in her aspect and her eyes...

Totally still working on the RV5 epilogue, I swear...

Suellyn

Ah, okay. I think that eventually Su would have realized that Rev wasn't going to listen to her nagging. She would have then attempted to teach by example, trying not to be like her own mother and more like her mother-in-law.

I did want for her to meet her hubby again but I would have liked for her to be a little more independent by the time that happened. That independence would have probably come gradually from taking care of the other beasts. ummm so yeah, anything else? I'm sure other plot points would have affected her but I've been sworn to secrecy on what those might be.

and yes, Liza, Su was wearing a dress, and it was holey in the back, and it was blue. Su was a good deal smaller than Rev though, so I doubt it would do her much good.

Jarrtail

I wouldn't think that Eliza would be terribly comfortable taking a bloody dress off of a dead hedgehog anyway. That doesn't seem like something that would be covered in Upper Class Etiquette 101.

Eliza Lacrimosa

Nono, she'd just be like, "Hey, Revel, I know where you can get a dress, and it comes with a meal, to boot!"  ;)

How would you cook hedgehog? Seems like the spikes would make it hard to eat. Maybe you have to pluck it first, like a bird.

Sparrowhawk

why, you stew it, of course! Softens everything right up. ;) The spikes would be like noodles, or something

Revel's a veritable culinary pioneer, isn't she!

Cricket Argyll

No, no. You just go for the soft undersides. S'like turtles. You have to crack 'em open to get at the good stuff inside. Just kidding, Sue. Nobody should eat you. >_> Ehem! More questions, although I think I might know who you are...

1. Do I know you personally? As in, has your alter ego ever talked to me on an IM service before you became a contestant? (Other names I go by: Terri Doxtrod, Stormcaller Widepad, Madame, Alam, and Bandypaw)

2. Do you have any kiddles? If so, are they Wild Things?
*crickets chirruping*

Just want to say, I'm irate that probably my second or third favorite character is off first. So yeah, really, really, really sorry to see you go, Sue, because I felt you had the most potential for character growth and interest.

Questions:
1: Given that Sue was a woodlander character in a sea of vermin, would she develop more attachment towards Bellona, or would she animately stay by Revel's side?

2. Did you ever have plans for Sue to become more assertive and bold, or would she become more conserved?

3. What would Professor Falliss have to offer via invitation to entice Sue to join him and nine other guests for dinner?
I am the game, and I want to play
